You're probably wondering what our name means, The M signifies Melanin and the ² is squared, which defines the two active ingredients our product provides.
Our journey to create skincare products that eliminate and tackle hyperpigmentation began in 2019. Throughout our research, we discovered ingredients that mainly target uneven skin tones and assist in fading any dark marks we may suffer from.
One of the main contributors to hyperpigmentation is the sun, so naturally, sunscreen became an interest. We found that sunscreen is a huge contributor to fading dark marks.
We learned that many people with darker skin have never been interested in purchasing sunscreen or are not even aware of the benefits of sunscreen. We started our search for a sunscreen to tackle these issues but struggled to find a product that could provide these benefits.
After numerous failed attempts at finding a suitable sunscreen to complement the tyrosinase inhibitor ingredients, our founder decided to take on the task to create a sunscreen suitable for all skin types regardless of shade or tone.
Our aim is to provide inclusive skincare that tackles & treats hyperpigmentation mainly targeting skin of colour to close the gap in the market.
Our vision is to become the leading skincare brand that caters to everyone specifically people of colour.
